A 6-month old Hays County child, killed by his baby-sitter last year, now has a new marker for his grave. The headstone for Aiden Perez is a gift from the investigators and prosecutors who wanted to give his family more than courtroom justice.

Austin Police Officers have safely returned a small child, who was found walking near the area of Allison Cove/ Sunridge Drive in south central Austin, to his family Friday morning. 

Police have charged Vuong Hoang with aggravated assault of a public servant after they say he tried to run over an officer with his car. The officer was attempting to detain Hoang and another person, Hoa Troung, for stealing a $150 stuffed animal from Dave and Busters.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Austin Revitalization Authority is taking a new job in Richmond, Virginia. Byron Marshall was sworn in as the new Chief Administrative Officer for Richmond Wednesday evening.

Dripping Springs has cancelled their 4th of July fireworks display. The Dripping Springs Lions Club sponsored the event and says it costs too much money. Wayne Burkland of the Lions Club says the group lost $7,000 last year.

The only public boat ramp on Lake Travis that will be open for the 4 th of July weekend is located at the Mansfield Dam Recreation Area off Ranch Road 620 just five miles south of FM 2222. Authorities have had to close 11 of the 12 public boat ramps on the lake due to low water levels.

A 21-year-old male from Elgin has been arrested for sending sexually explicit text messages to an underage female.  Juan Pablos Ramos is being charged with online solicitation of a minor because he thought he was texting a known underage female, but was instead texting Bastrop County Special Investigators.
